What the coaching profile is
When you first set up your organization, the onboarding wizard asked a few quick questions about how you coach: whether you work solo or run a studio, where you train clients, what you specialize in, and what your coaching style is like. Those answers become your coaching profile — a small, structured summary that our AI assistant reads before it writes anything on your behalf.
The profile only holds five things:
- Archetype — solo coach or studio/team.
- Training formats — gym, private studio, outdoors, client's home, or online video.
- Specialties — strength, weight loss, rehab, running, beginners, functional fitness, or pre/post-natal.
- Coaching style — evidence-based, supportive, high-accountability, or technique-focused.
- Extra notes — anything else worth knowing, in your own words, up to 200 characters.
Everything else you were asked during onboarding — your name, your location, a typical session length and rate — already lives somewhere with its own editor: your name and address in Company information, and session length and price on each individual service. Those aren't part of the coaching profile because they aren't facts about how you coach; they're details about a specific service or listing, and belong there instead.
Why we ask
Our AI assistant uses your coaching profile as background whenever it drafts something for you: the wording on your booking page, suggested answers for your FAQ section, and — going forward — the tone of messages it helps you send to clients. Without it, every draft starts from nothing but your business name. With it, a drafted FAQ answer about "what should I bring to my first session" already knows you coach outdoors and focus on beginners, so the answer doesn't need a rewrite.
The profile is never shown to your clients directly. It's internal context for the assistant, the same way a new hire would ask you a few questions before writing copy for you.
Updating your coaching profile
Your answers from onboarding are just a starting point — as your business changes, so should they.
- Go to Settings → Coaching profile (under Organization) in your dashboard.
- Adjust your archetype, training formats, specialties, coaching style, or extra notes using the same chip-style controls you saw during setup.
- Choose Save changes.
There's a small question-mark icon next to the "Coaching profile" heading — hover or tap it any time for a short reminder of why we collect this information.
What doesn't change here
This page only edits the five fields above. If you need to update your business name, address, or contact details, use Company information instead. If you need to change a service's session length or price, edit that service directly from Services. Keeping these separate means each fact lives in exactly one place, so updating your rate for one service never accidentally changes how the AI assistant describes your coaching style — and vice versa.
